Early morning, 6.30 am and we were at Pek Kio CC to join 50 over Moulmein grassroots leaders and their family members on a 3D/2N trip to KL for the Moulmein Annual Retreat .........
The 2 coaches made a 'breakfast stop' at Gelang Patah.........simple food, but nice......
We made another stop - this time in Melaka for 'lunch break' ......... where you make your own rojak and mee soup.........
Arriving at the Coronade Hotel in the afternoon, we lost no time after checking in to go......
shopping !
The next day, an 'advance party' made the trip to K L Tower to set up the Conference Room
for the Annual Workplan Seminar being held that afternoon.......
The AWP Seminar went into full swing on Saturday with K C conducting the 2-hour session.....
Meeting over, time for makan again.............and we headed to our favourite restaurant -
'The Restoran Oversea' at Jalan Imbi for a good Cantonese meal.........
Another 'must visit' favourite food place in K L is the Sun Fong Bak Kut Teh Restaurant , also at Jalan Imbi area - we made the pilgrimage there early Sunday morning........
On the way back from our Bak Kut Teh breakfast, we went to check out the famous 'ba chor mee' stall nearby - we saw many customers there and even our MP, Mr Lui Tuck Yew and wife went to eat there - so, must be good......
At the Sunday' Wrap Up' session, Mr. Lui gave us his vision for Moulmein ............
After that, seminar over, we checked out, went for our lunch - made the obligatory visits to the 'local products' shops

danzbuddies Wednesday Class - new dances
hi danzbuddies,
here are details of new dances for this week :
- 'Bad Addiction' by Karl-Harry Winson. 64 count, 4 wall, intermediate level dance with two tags (end of Wall 1 and wall 4) and one restart (on wall 3). Using a nice number from the Overtones called "Gambling Man". Steps are easy and go well with the song.
- 'What Happens On The Dance Floor' by Peter & Alison. 64 count, 2 wall intermediate level dance with two restarts (at wall 2 and wall 4). The song used is 'What Happens On The Dance Floor' by Alexandra Burke - the version featuring Cobra Starship. The music is quite fast, but steps are not too difficult, so should not be too difficult to master.......
- 'Ready, Set, Gone' by Kirsten Birkkjaer. 32 count, 2 wall, beginner level dance with 2 tags. Song used is "Ready, Set, Gone" by Billy Kay, a nice country track which makes the dance so enjoyable. A 'no stress' dance.....
