details of new dances we are sharing this week are as follows:

- 'The Young Ones' by Eva Pau. 64 count, 2 wall, intermediate level dance. Note the 32-count tag which takes care of the chorus section of the song used - the classic Cliff Richard number 'The Young Ones'...A well choreographed dance.

- 'Frequency' by Karl-Harry Winson. 64 count, 4 wall, intermediate level dance.

Note the 2 tags and 1 restart. Song used is 'Me And My Radio' by Eric Saade. Step are a bit challenging but should be manageable with practice.

- 'Jambalaya' by Karen Tripp. 64 count, 1 wall, beginner level dance. No tag, no restart. An easy 'no stress' dance. We use a 'rock n roll' version of the song which is more upbeat....

- 'El Diablo Anda Suelto' by Ayu Permana. 64 count, 2 wall , intermediate level dance. Nice latin number used for the dance "El Diablo Anda Suelto" by Rey Ruiz, song goes well with the dance.

- 'Tonight I'm Your Captain' by Rep Ghazali. 32 count, 4 wall, easy intermediate level dance with one easy tag at end of wall 6. Song used is "Your Captain Tonight" by Elena Gheorghe.

- 'Reggae Roads' by Jose Miguel Belloquevane, Roy Verdonk & Wil Bos. 32 count, 4 wall beginner level dance. we like the song used - "Take Me Home Country Roads"
done in Reggae beat by Toots & the Maytals.

Tanglin CC Women's Executive Committee held an 'International Women's Day Celebration Dance Party' at Tanglin CC on March 10th 2012. Some 100 participants enjoyed an evening of great food, good music, dancing and other fringe activities. It was an occasion for making new friends and catching up with old buddies - everyone had an enjoyable time, especially those who won prizes in the lucky draw.....

- 'Rockaway' by Robbie McGowan Hickie. 48 count, 4 wall, intermediate level dance. A rather fast 'Rock N Roll' type dance - using the song 'Feels Like Rock 'n' Roll' by Bouke.

- 'Be Mine Tonight' by Peter & Alison. 64 count, 4 wall , intermediate level dance. The song is a delightful version of the Elvis classic "It's Now Or Never" by Chris Isaak.

- 'Lodi' by Colin Smith. 32 count, 2 wall, beginner level dance. Song used is the familiar CCR number 'Lodi". Steps go well with the song - a 'no stress' dance.

- 'Live It Up' by Kate Sala. 48 count, 4 wall, Beginner Level dance. Note the 2 restarts at walls 4 and 7. Song used is by Chris Isaak.

- 'My Baby In Camouflage' by Eddie Huffman. 32 count, 2 wall, beginner level dance. Nice song used "My Baby Looks Good In Camouflage" by the Bone Collector.
