Sunday, September 13 2009It was time to cook up another batch of 'Dong Gu Man Gai Geok' - my first try-out on September 11th wasn't that satisfactory - some find the dish a bit too salty...........so, it was back to the kitchen on Saturday night to assemble the ingredients and start on the mushrooms......
Final ingredients were added to the stew by 1.00 am and left in the crockpot on slow heat til Sunday morning. This time around....the stew worked out well and everyone had a go at it, some going for seconds. In the end, not a drop left, yummy......

In the end, not a drop left, yummy......So, til September 2010 for the next serving of this dish .....this is one of the Wife's all-time favourite dishes. So, once a year, it is lovingly prepared during the September 11th week.........
