December Vacation in Orlando

December 13th 8.20 pm (US time) arrival at Orlando Airport finally......

- Our return visit to Orlando was a short one (December 13 to 19) - tho' the journey there and back were long (took us 26 hours each way....)



Happy to catch up with Kelvin, visited his apartment and met 'Ali' , his flatmate's pet boxer

Did lots of shopping......

Had a lot of great meals with Kelvin's classmates & families who had also journeyed to Orlando for the graduation ceremony......

Highlight of the visit was, of course, our attendance at the University of Central Florida's MBA Commencement Ceremony.

danzbuddies Wednesday Jam at Kallang Theatre

Hi danzbuddies,

For those who are joining us on Wednesday 28th December for our jam session at Kallang Theatre.......details of two dances we are sharing are as follows:

- 'Amorato Mio' by Ira Weisburd. 32 count, 4 wall, beginner level dance with 2 tags at the end of Wall 2 and wall 6. Music used is a nice rhumba number , 'Amore Mio' by I Loco LoQuito.

- 'Up Jumped The Boogie' by Gaye Teather and Andrew & Sheila. 48 count, 2 wall , intermediate level dance with 1 tag at the end of Wall 5. Nice music used - 'Up Jumped The Boogie' by The Tractors.

There's a revision for the dances to be shared - we are replacing 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' dance with the following:

- 'One More Night' by Robbie McGowan Hickie & Karl -Harry Winson. 64 count, 4 wall, intermediate level dance. Great song used - 'Un Momento' by Inna. Like all Robbie's dances the dance is not so easy, a bit challenging but well choreographed for the song used.

Line Dancing @ Kallang Theatre

Hi danzbuddies,

Details of new dances to be shared this week at our Wednesday LD jam at Kallanag Theatre are as follows:

- 'Go Seven' by Ria Vos. 32 count, 4 wall. beginner level dance. Danced to another of Bouke's song - 'Seven Lonely Days'. A nice song , goes well with the dance steps.

- 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' by Mei Wuu. 48 count, 4 wall, beginner level dance. Song is by Jackson 5. A simple jolly good dance for thei X'mas season.
