danzbuddies Wednesday Jam at Kallang Theatre

Hi danzbuddies,

For those who are joining us on Wednesday 28th December for our jam session at Kallang Theatre.......details of two dances we are sharing are as follows:

- 'Amorato Mio' by Ira Weisburd. 32 count, 4 wall, beginner level dance with 2 tags at the end of Wall 2 and wall 6. Music used is a nice rhumba number , 'Amore Mio' by I Loco LoQuito.

- 'Up Jumped The Boogie' by Gaye Teather and Andrew & Sheila. 48 count, 2 wall , intermediate level dance with 1 tag at the end of Wall 5. Nice music used - 'Up Jumped The Boogie' by The Tractors.

Our next LD Jam Session @ Kallang Theatre will feature the following 2 new dances:

- 'You Are My Sunshine' by Maria Tao. 64 count, 4 wall, beginner level dance. No tag no Restart. A nice easy 'no stress' dance, using the very nice song "You Are My Sunshine" by Trini Lopez.

- 'La Llama' by Maria Maag. 64 count, 2 wall, high iontermediate level dance. The dance steps may seem a bit challenging, but can be mastered with practice. Song used is a nice Chris Ice number - "La Llama".

To celebrate 'Deepavali' ou danzbuddies gathered at the 'Orchid Room' at Kallang Theatre for a Line Dance jam. We enjoyed the dances - some old favourites and a couple of new dances (see next post for details of the new dances shared). There was great food and nice company too.......

details of dances shared this week at Kallang Theatre jam session are as follows:

- 'Spend the Night' by Vikki Morris. 32 count, 4 wall, beginner dance. Using a nice song 'Why Don't You Spend the Night' by Ray Dylan. Note the tag at the end of wall 4.

- 'Dirty Dancer' by Jo Kinser, Daniel Trepat & Neils Poulsen. 64 count, 2 wall, intermediate dance. One restart during Wall 5 . Music used is the popular number by Enrique Iglesias 'Dirty Dancer'....Steps may seem daunting, but not too difficult. There are a few nice moves in the dance.......
