Good-bye Boat Quay, Hello Newton !

Today marked Rosemary's first work day at her new business address - UOB KayHian @ No. 8 Anthony Road, next to Newton Road / Scotts Road area.

It was kind of sad to have to relocate from the UOB Building at Boat Quay - after all, its been fifteen long years she had spent there, having made a lot of friends in the bank, the food centre, the shopping malls, including a couple of kitties - 'Ah Boy' and 'Baby' which we feed every morning......sure gonna miss them.
Its also good-bye to our early morning walks along Boat Quay and the '5-minute tai-chi' practices by the Singapore River......
On the other hand, the new location at Newton is so much more convenient - only a short 8-minute walk to get home......and everything in the new place is so new and nice.....

Exam Time , Again

It was 'Exam Time' again!......after 3 months of relentless practice with Vincent and Felicia, we once again appeared in front of UKA examiner, Mr. David Roberts for our 'Tango' and 'Waltz' exams.

Happily for us, we both passed the exams - with a 'High Commendation' rating. So, on to the next scheduled exam in March 2010 - and this time , we will be taking the 'Salsa' exam.
