SATURDAY, 23RD OCTOBER 2010

Some 90 danzbuddies and friends came together for our 'Country & Western' Theme Party and also to have a big birthday celebration with K C and Rosemary.

Everyone helped themselves to the free flow of hot beverages........

and to the free flow of white wine..........cheers and a warm welcome to our guests from Perth.....

The fringe event for the night was a 'Dementia Awareness Promotion' Campaign........

After a sumptuous 'nasi briyani' dinner, it was time for a 'Birthday Cake Cutting ' ceremony

More line dancing followed..........some prefered to do the cha cha cha and whatever.....

Some had lots of fun with the 'cowboy-red indian' theme

It was a near riot when the birthday boy came riding up on his 'horse'... !

There was plenty opportunity for bonding with friends and buddies.......

Many thanks to all danzbuddies for their best wishes -

and special thanks to our 'DJs on Duty.......

Our thanks also to Philip for all his help with logistics and also for taking the photos for this report (our resident photographer Alan was away in Malaysia.....)

See ya at our next party on November 2oth.......it's will have a 'Beach Party' theme, so go get ready your swim-suits and beach partyt gears.........

danzbuddies birthday celebrations

Double celebration on October 1st........

Our Friday danzbuddies had a 'Double Celebration' on October 1st - it was Children's Day and also the 70th birthday of danzbuddy Mdm Thio Heong Nam. A beaming Mdm Thio recounted the day she joined the danzbuddies 7 years ago - she looks forward to our Wednesday and Friday sessions and turns up without fail every week. She said "joining the danzbuddies was the best thing that she had ever done and she is very happy to be part of such a cl0se-knitted 'family' " - well said, Mdm Thio and we wish you many more happy years with the danzbuddies ...

On Wednesday, October 6th we had another 'Double Celebration' - we celebrated the birthday of danzbuddy Siok Im (Oct 6th) and also that of her hubby Philip (Oct 10th)....... Both of them have been with us for close to ten years and we really appreciate their dedication and support of our the danzbuddies club........wishing both of you 'more great years' together........
