On arrival at the Geylang Serai Market, the Dear Wife headed straight for her favorite stall - 'Sinar Pagi Nasi Padang' and ordered two servings of lontong - so, lontong it was for breakfast, no argument about that. Not only that, a good many other goodies were also bought for lunch. This is one stall we highly recommend to you folks - very good variety of traditional Malay dishes - real sedap ones! They are at in the middle section , corner stall near the roadside.
Another favourite stall is the kueh stall , 'Eeh! Eeh! Nak Lagi! (yes, its a funny name) - again, very good selection of different types of kueh-kueh. We never leave Geylang Serai Market without buying a selection from them.
Went home and had such a wonderful Malay lunch, at reccession-friendly prices some more..........yummy!
