details of new dances for this week are as follows:

- 'Banca Cha'  by Marie Sorensen. 32 count, 4 wall, beginner level dance with two restarts at walls 3 and 7. The song is 'Banca Cha' by E-Type. There used to be another dance to this number - we think this version is easier and well-suited to this dance.

- 'Smoochin'  by Robert Lindsay.  64 count, 4 wall, intermediate level dance. Note the 3 tags required at the end of walls 1, 3 and 5. Nice song used - 'Kissing In The Back Row' by the Barbados.

- 'La Vida Del Verona'  by Sebastian Holtland.  76 count, 4 wall, intermediate level dance. Note the 2 tags. Song used is 'Que Si, Que Si, Que No' by Frank Galan. This is quite a fast number, so stay focused.

- 'Sweet Corrina' by Sebastian Holland.  48 count, 2 wall, Beginner Level dance. 2 Restarts at Walls 2 and 4. great song used - Blackjacks version of 'Corrine, Corrina'.

- 'Bahama Mama'  by Roger Hwang. 64 count, 4 wall, Beginner Level dance. No tags, No restarts. An easy dance choreographed to Boney M's 'Bahama Mama'

- 'Aphrodisiac' by Alison & Peter. 40 count, 4 wall, Intermediate Level dance. 2 Tags at the end of walls 2 and 4. Music used is 'Aphrodisiac' by Eleftheia Eleftheriou.

- 'Cha Cha Fortuna'  by Rep Ghazali. 32 count, 4 wall , intermediate level dance. No tag, no restart. Steps are easy, but nice. Song used is a nice cha cha number 'Crazy'  by Andy Fortuna.

- 'Papa'  by Des Ho.  64 count, 4 wall, phrased, Beginner Level dance. Note the Part A and Part B sequence which goes nicely with the song used - 'Papa' by Paul Anka.

- 'Blue Heartache'  by Robbie McGowan Hickie.  64 count, 4 wall, intermediate dance. No tag , no restart. Using a great country song 'Pure Blue Heartache' by Jarrod Birmingham.

Getai Extravaganza @ Kallang Theatre

For the first time in Singapore, Kallang Theatre hosted a 'Getai Extravaganza' featuring 15 well known local and overseas artistess who enthralled the 1000 odd getai fans for a full three hours with their song-and-dance performances.

Guests of Honour included Mr. Sam Tan and Mr. Ang Mong Seng

- 'Smooth'  by Jodie Lavinia Cope. 64 count, 2 wall, Intermediate Level dance. Music is another of Santana's classic - 'Smooth'. We use the version featuring Rob Thomas.
