Wednesday Class resumes @ Tanglin CC March 11

REMINDER!

Our Wednesday class will resume tomorrow (Weds. Mar 11) at the newly renovated Dance Studio (new air-cons, walls repainted, dance floor repolished.......)

New dances to be taught are as follows (click on each dance for stepsheet link):

Wanna Dance, a 32-count easy 4-wall dance choreographed by Peter & Alison to a nice Cliff Richard song - we are using a more 'beaty' version by Keith Dunn. No tag, no restart.

Chiki Chiki, another fairly easy 32-count 4-wall dance. This version is by David Spencer (Feb 09). The song Chiki Chiki is by Carlos Baute, nice latin beat. Two simple 'bump-bump' tags.

Life Without You, by Maggie Gallagher, 64-count 4-wall intermediate dance.Pretty fast song 'My Life Would Suck Without You' by Kelly Clarkson. Simple tag to be done at end of walls 1,3, 5
Taking Back My Love, by Alan Haywood, 64-count, 4-wall intermediate level dance . Great song from Enrigue Iglesias featuring Ciara. One restart on wall 2 after 48 counts.

Four nice dances - all should be no problem for you danzbuddies. See ya.

TAKE NOTE - we will have a visit from Australian choreographer Jan Wyllie in June - Jan will be conducting a couple of workshops for CLDAS. A big 'Country & Western' themed Party will be held at the ACS big hall (700 participants) on Sunday, June 7th. Watch out for details.........

It was good to be back to a bright new dance studio after an absence of 3 weeks and we enjoyed all 4 dances taught eap.Life without you. We went to a LD jam on Saturday and thought the dance BAHAMA MAMA quite nice, the song was catchy and the dance did not seem too difficult.Hope you will look into it and consider teaching it to us on Wed. if you feel it is suitable for our class. Thanks
