danzbuddies November 'Go Green' Party - Part 1

Saturday November 20th 2010

The danzbuddies November Party at Tanglin CC was held in conjunction with a NEA's Project E.A.R.T.H. 'Go Green - Reduce, Recycle and Reuse' campaign.......






The event attracted a 'full house' crowd of more than 100 danzbuddies and their friends - the line dancing soon got off to a good start.....................

We wish to record our 'Thanks' to Ms Jacklyn Chia of NEA for helping to arrange for the NEA exhibition d isplay and for the funding support which allowed us to present all participants with goodie items, namely a drinking mug and a lunch box - chosen to make danzbuddies get into the habit of bringing their own meal box and mug to our weekly and monthly jam sessions........our little contribution towards "Saving the Planet" campaign.......

The poster display was informative and gave us lots of material for the 'Quiz Contest'..............

The 'Quiz Contest' provided some excitement for the danzbuddies with many of them going home happy with their winning of a shopping voucher.

We also arranged for Ecosystem Solutions Pte Ltd Company to come and set up a demonstration on garbage enzymes and 'How to Produce Useful Enzymes from Kitchen Waste....'

The demonstartion session attracted lots of attention from our danzbuddies..............

Meanwhile, the dance floor continues to see plenty of action with some very nserious 'non-stop line dancing'...........

danzbuddies November 'Go Green' Party - Part 2

It's dinner time - and our F&B member got on to distributing the 'nasi lemak' boxed meal s to every table..........

And, as usual, everyone gave their 'thumbs up' to the delicious nasi lemak meal from Rosli of Newton Food Center.......

There was great fellowship during dinner time......and there was much evidence of the close bond of friendship amongst the danzbuddies and friends

Even the little kittens, Ginger and Snowy came to join in the merry-making.........

It was a great party indeed - so said our visiting friends...........

We say a big 'Thank You' to Tang and Maizie for helping at the DJ station

and our usual 'Thanks' to Alan for all the photos that appear in this blog........

Many thanks to all danzbuddies who came to support the 'Go Green' Party - especially those who turned up dressed according to the Theme dress code.........
