danzbuddies 'Welcome 2011' New Year Celebration Party @ Tanglin CC - Part 1

Tanglin CC Line Dance Club members - the danzbuddies , celebrated the New Year with a 'Welcome 2011' Rabbit Year Theme Party.......

The Lunar New Year decorations and banner were prepared and put up on display................

Our danzbuddies came in full force, many arrived dressed in nice pink-and-white 'Bunny Colours' theme......

The Party Hostess was ready and got the party started off right on time..........

soon the dance floor was filled and the dancing went into high gear.

Dinner time came .......and the 'Catering Service ' team got to work.......serving everyone a good helping of the delicious 'Longtong' catered from our regular cater - Rosli of No. 83 Newton Food Centre (for the many of you who asked about him - you can contact him @ HP9683 0395 )

and, as expected - the longtong was very well received....receiving 'thumbs up' from everyone............."yummy, yummy....."

The free flow of hot drinks was also well appreciated, as always - "Nescafe GOLD" , no less !...........

the danzbuddies were pleasantly surprised to get some delightful Chinese New Year 'after-dinner' treats from the the 'Candy Man'.............

After the dinner break, it was more non-stop action on the dance floor...........................






6-year-old Charmaine Ng wowed the crowd with her great moves for the dances she knew.. .....






while our 'senior danzbuddies' didn't want to lose out as they also showed off their stuff.....








........even our mascots - kitties 'Princess' and 'Tiger' got into action on the dance floor !

















The beautiful 'Year of The Rabbit' decorations was a big draw for danzbuddies and friends who all wanted to have their pictures taken with the display as background.....

Once again, we saw great bonding amongst the danzbuddies and friends........

we welcomed Alan's sister Miranda and brother -in-law, Kenneth from Manchester.........

With time getting on - supper was served to end another of our great the parties

Once again our big 'Thank You' to DJs on duty - Maizie and Tang for helping with sound system management......

A big 'Thank You' to Alan Khoo for taking and for his generous sharing of photos taken at the party

.......and to Philip for his great help with the decorations.......

and to Uncle Sam and Kim for taking charge of the 'Catering Service' team comprising Peggy, Dennis, Jacelyn and Philip......

Our greatful appreciation to all danzbuddies for their support of the party, especially to those who came dressed according to our 'Rabbit New Year' Theme

Keep the date - February 19th free for our next theme party - it's time for our "Valentine's Day" Party again.

We are doing this 'Hearts & Flowers' Theme Party with the Tanglin CC Women Executives' Committee..............
