danzbuddies Wednesday Class

hi danzbuddies,

here are details of the new dances we shall be sharing for this week - we are having 18 members of the Cathedral City Line Dance Club from Christchurch, New Zealand joining us for the class.....so, we decided to do some easier 'no stress' dances. Mary Stanley-Shepherd, the NZ group leader will also be sharing with us a couple of dances from NZ....

- 'Mambo Tequila' by Pim van Grootel & Daniel Trepat. 32 count, 4 wall, beginner level. Music used is 'Imambo Tequila' by Azucar Moreno. Its a very recognisable song.......the steps are easy and go well with the dance......

- 'Sweet Like Cola' by Francien Sitttrop. 32 count, 4 wall, beginner level dance. Two tags. Song used is another of Lou Bega's numbers - 'Sweet Like Cola'. A great song to dance to.

- 'In Mexico' by Robbie McGowan Hickie. 64 count, 2 wall, intermediate level dance. There is one 16-count tag at the end of wall 2. Although at 64 count, the steps are not too complicated - they are well choreographed - a good dance that goes well with a very beautiful song - 'Down In Mexico' by Jerrod Niemann.
