Teachers' Day Celebration II

Sunday, September 5th 2010

We had another double 'Teachers' Day / Happy Birthday' celebration with the Sunday danzbuddies on 5th September.
At the end of our usual Sunday morning jam session, the danzbuddies 'Ukulele Band' got into action and band leader Richard Yeo led the group in a sing-along session......

It would seem that they had been practicing the 'Waltz of a Lifetime' song - and they specially performed the number for us to waltz around the dance floor.....it was nice and so meaningful for them to that - the 'Lifetime Waltz' dance was our first choreography and it brings back happy memories always.....

Next, we sang 'Happy Birthday' to Rosemary and then adjourned downstairs for a sumptuous lunch. The Tanglin IAEC members joined us by doing a cooking demo on cooking fish curry and tumeric rice - a big 'Thank You' to Kabilan and his IAEC members for the delicious 'fish-head curry' and tumeric rice.

Once again - a big 'Thank You' to all our danzbuddies for this Teachers' Day treat. We really appreciate all the love and care that's been shown to us lately...........when things aren't going the way it should, it's a great feeling to see all of you standing by us.
